Our oldest son, Parker is in the third grade. Every year the third grade at his school does a project they call 'wax museum'. Each child picks a famous person to study their biography and do a report and presentation about. I have to say that even I learned a lot about Thomas Jefferson that I never knew! Parker really got into this assignment and did a fantastic job! We are hoping to make a trip to Virginia during summer vacation to visit Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello.
Here are a few pictures of Parker from yesterday during the school wide presentation. I was so proud of the job he did!!! My wonderful and talented Mother made Parker's awesome costume from scratch without a pattern! Thank God for Grandma's!
To all that come to this happy place...WELCOME! This is where I will share my love for my family, Disney, my Cricut and crafting!

DCWV Glitter Stacks and K&C double sided paper
These papers are perfect for card making and so many of them I didn't want to cut up and 'ruin' the design so I came up with a little plan..... I tried cutting a little template and folding it up to use a ribbon to tie it and I love the way it looked so I picked out a bunch of the different patterned paper and went to town!

Oops! Almost forgot this one!
Just a note!
Wild Card cartridge creations!
Creations using Home Decor cartridge!
I didn't think I needed or wanted the Home Decor cartridge and when my Mom ordered me the Mother's Day promo and I ended up with 2 of the Home Decor cartridges....I decided to go ahead and open one of them up and use it! The bird, bee and dragon fly cuts go so good with the papers from the DCWV Spring and Summer Glitter Stacks!
Oh Pooh!
Creative juices were flowing!!!
On Tuesday my husband decided to head up north to his Mom's to get some things done around the yard for her. Lucky for me our 4 year old turned on the crocodile tears tears and Daddy ended up taking him too! WAHOOOOO!!!! That meant free time for Mommy!!! They walked out the door at 11:30 AM and by 11:35 AM I was upstairs and seated at my scrapbooking table!
In a 24 hour period I was able to create 26 cards! It was so much fun to be able to sit and create and get so much accomplished!
Here are a few of the cards I finished!
This card I made for our Principal's son who is also Parker's penpal, that is coming home from Iraq next week after a 15 month tour of duty!
