All About Tanner mini book!
My youngest has officially started PreK and his teacher wanted each of the kids to make a 6x12 with their parents to share with their classmates. This assignment was handed down on the Friday of my scrapbooking weekend so my hubby and Tanner sat down at the computer while I was away and picked out the pictures he wanted to use for his book!

2007 WDW LO's from my scrapbooking weekend retreat!
So I am finally getting around to posting pictures of the LO's I completed 2 weeks ago during my weekend crop. I ended up completing 42 pages which isn't as good as normal, but considering I was sick most of the day on Sunday I am very happy with the outcome.
Most of the photos used on these pages are from our 2007 WDW trip, with the exception of the Star Wars Weekend LO's which were from 2005 & 2006!
A few of my favorites I will post at the beginning. I was very happy with the way my MGM LO with the Sorcerer Hat turned out! It took me forever to hand draw and cut the pieces and get them just right! The glove was made by using two different Mickey glove cuts from M&F's.
My other three favorites are my Tower of Terror LO, Pooh's Playful Spot and the Tic Toc Crocodile one!
I really enjoy these scrapbooking weekends! Getting the chance to create and spend time with my friends away from the daily hustle and bustle of the house is wonderful! I only wish I could have all of my forum friends join me!
Thank you for taking the time to look! I hope you enjoy them!

WAHOO!
One week from today I will be on my way to my weekend crop and I cannot wait! Now I just need to clean up my scrapping area and start getting things organized and packed! I also have 4000+ photos from our latest Disney trip to go through and figure out which ones need to be printed. That is probably the part of the process I hate the most. It's so time consuming to crop, edit and upload them! Hopefully I can get around to some of that this weekend.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Back home from vacation!
We have been gone from home since August 2nd! When we left home we made our way down to Florida and spent a couple of days at the beautiful ocean front Lido Beach Resort on the Gulf of Mexico. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and water and we toured the lovely St. Armand's Circle. After soaking up the surf and sun we made our way towards Lake Buena Vista to Walt Disney World which was to be our location for the next 12 days! We started out at the Old Key West Resort in the French Quarter and it was lovely. The kids really enjoyed the sea serpent slide at the pool and we enjoyed a beautiful carriage ride at dusk throughout the Old Key West property. This was the first time we had tried this and would highly recommend it to anybody making a trip there! Our first two days at WDW some time at Downtown Disney, The Boardwalk and pool time!
Tuesday, August 5th was our first day in the parks and of course we started off at the Magic Kingdom! We had 10 fun filled days in the parks, celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I was even lucky enough to meet up with 3 Cricut Sisters while we were there! CaughtaBug (Helena), Just Scrappin (Laurie) and last, but not least, Disney4us (Sherry!). It was so wonderful meeting each and everyone of them and their lovely families! Even though our time together was short, I'm so happy that we were able to cross paths!
We had so many wonderful moments during our trip and I cannot wait to return!
Once we got home we were here for 2 days and Jim had to go to Ohio for work and wanted us to come with him.....so off to another hotel we went! We are heading back home tomorrow morning and I have one week to get the boys school clothes and supplies purchased and get us back on some kind of normal schedule!!! Whatever 'normal' is!
Looking forward to getting back to my Disney message boards, my Cricut board and my Cricut and scrapbooking!!!! It's been so long since I've created anything! Good thing I'm only about 3 weeks away from a scrapbooking weekend away!

Sick to my stomach!
I just found out that the 35 cards and tin that I donated for the auction to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation only went for $60! I literally could throw up right now knowing all the time I put into them. I think next year I will just be making a monetary donation. I know every penny helps, but I can't believe they went for this little.
