Thank you Diane!!!

My friend Diane is our hero today!  She is the friend that I was going to ask if I could borrow her Expression since the USB port to mine is messed up and will not allow me to cut from my Gypsy.  She saw my blog post and sent me a text message yesterday and told me to come pick hers up!  Jim and I had a window of about an hour free yesterday between events at the school so we ran over to her house and picked it up.  I cannot tell you how thankful I am to her!  We have been working with the boys all morning on their science fair projects and being able to cut from the Gypsy is much easier and quicker than having to search for and swap out cartridges.  THANK YOU DIANE!!!!!  She even told me to hold onto her Expression until April when the new E comes out!!!  Love her!

Another good piece of news is that my other friend Kaye is going to have her hubby Rob take a look at the USB port on my Cricut to see if he can fix it or swap out the port with a new one.  I am one lucky lady to have such great friends!

We are taking a quick break for some lunch and then it is back to work on the school projects.  We are hoping to get enough accomplished to be able to head to the movies later.  We really want to see Gnomeo and Juliet.  That may have to wait for another time though...  Hope you are all having a great weekend so far.  There are so many wonderful blog hops going on today and that is what I would love to be doing!

  7. Hi Melissa! Thanks for visiting my blog! To get the ribbon ruffled I start the stitch on my sewing machine, and then sew a little bit at a time, stoping to tuck under a new frill. I love how it looks in the end!
