I have been a long time follower of Amy's and have wanted to try out her products for a long time! If you haven't been by Amy's blog and do not know about Chomas Creations then you are missing out! Last week Amy sent me out 2 sets of her mini gel pens with a pink gel pen holder! When she offered to send them to me I couldn't resist taking the opportunity to order myself an engraving tip to try out as well! I have already tried out the pens and holder and I LOVE THEM! I made a card for the Disney/Pixar Blog Hop that I will be sharing with you on Saturday. Today I am going to try out some things with my engraving tip and see how it goes. I've picked up some different things to try the engraving tip on and I am anxious to see how they turn out.
Here are the mini gel pens and holder
This is the engraving tip
I am hoping that Amy is going to be able to join us for one of our upcoming weekend crops and do some demonstrations of her products for all my scrapping friends! When that day comes (if not before) I will be adding the Chomas Creations embossing tip to my arsenal!
Please stop by and check out Amy's Blog - Chomas Creations and take a look around at all the amazing layouts and cards she has on display. You can also find some helpful tutorials and videos on all of her products to help you decide what will fit your needs the best.
I also picked up some more buttons and ribbon yesterday (and maybe just a couple of stacks of pretty paper and maybe a few cute stamps...) for some cards that I have in my head. I already had a ton of buttons and ribbon...just not all of the right stuff for what I want to create! I have some ideas for cards minus my Cricut *gasp*!!! I see some sunshine... rainbows... caterpillars and flowers coming to a blog post soon!
If I get something that turns out today I will be posting it later. I'm still in the learning process with these new-to-me tools so I hope you will stay tuned. I guess Mother Nature forgot that we've moved onto spring, because looking outside it clearly is back to winter! Hope this is short lived...I am so sick of the cold and snow! I was crossing my fingers for a snow (ice) day, but it looks like it isn't bad enough (yet) for that to happen. So I will be getting the boys up soon and heading off to school. After bagel delivery I get to go on a field trip to the recycling center with Tanner for a few hours. I should still have some time this afternoon to work on some of the projects that are dying to bust out of my imagination! Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
Melissa I never realized that we have similar tastes in wanting tools. I have been drooling over Amys gel pen holder, engraver and embossing tip FOREVER just not in the cards right now. I can't wait to see what you make! I love the idea of all the spring things you are talking about! Sorry for the snow!
ReplyDeleteHow was the field trip??????? Why is it that no matter how much "stuff" we have, it's never the right "stuff" for the latest project idea floating around in our head???
