K-I-S-S-I-N-G

It's another card made with SCAL!  I downloaded this file from Brittany's SVG Files Blog.  She has some really good basic cut files that are good for a beginner like me to use!

I wish this card would have looked better in the photo.  The patterned paper has a bit of a sheen to it and is gorgeous!  I'm thinking I might need to put the hubby to work on one of those light boxes to use for taking my (hopefully sooner rather than later) like Celeste's fiance' made for her.  You can check out that light box here >>>  Celeste's Blog Touched By a Butterfly.

The patterned paper is by Pink Paislee.  The bride and groom and the silver matted block were both cut from Colorbok pearlescent paper.  The ribbon is from my stash and the adhesive pearls were from the $1 bin at Michaels.  The "K-I-S-S-I-N-G" stamp is by Three Bugs in a Rug.  I used leftover negative pieces of Pop Dots to lift the bride and groom off of the card front a bit.

I liked using the sentiment I did for this card so that I could use it for a wedding or an anniversary card.  I hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog today and that you come back real soon.  Have a magical day and thanks so much for stopping by.  I think I need to change up the order of my playlist and move Everybody Has a Laughing Place up to the top because I am definitely in the need of turning my frown upside down.  I'll be working on that today...

  1. Beautiful Card! I know what you're saying about a light box. My hubby has something set down in the basement for his E-Bay stuff. You know how basements can be. Mine isn't that bad it's jsut that it's super cold. I had to rig something up here because I want to be able to snap pictures then move on with next project. I really need to do something different but what I have is working so far. I love your card though! Have a wonderful day! Well, it's 6am time to get little one up to start his day.
