When I was working on the card for this hop I found this plaid paper that I wanted to use by K&Company.  Once I got the frog cut out I accidentally flipped it over to discover how it looked on the reverse side of the two sided paper and I was instantly torn between the two!  Which side should I use???  I  really liked them both!  The patchwork print looked so cute as the frog which was funny because if it would have cut out on any other section of that paper, I don't think I would have liked it as much.  I decided to keep the patchwork cut for one card and cut another out of the plaid and make two cards!

Paper is by K&Company.  The frog is cut from Paisley Cricut cartridge at 5".  The crinkle ribbon is by Kimberly at My Craft Spot.  The button is from my stash and the rick-rak is by Wrights.  The cool dimensional bling stickers that I used from the eyes were given to me by my friend Steph who thought they would be perfect and she was right!  They are All That Bling by Jolee's and she found them at Target. Thanks Steph!  The stamped sentiment on this card is from the Be Mine set of Pink By Design stamps (which has FREE shipping this weekend!).  Oh...I almost froggot (hee hee), I used my Uni-ball Signo white pen to go around the outside edges of the froggie.

Now...here is the backside of the first frog I cut out!  See why I just had to use it?  I really like how the patterned lined up on the frog cut even though it wasn't planned that way.   The products and cuts for this card were the same as the first card, except for the stamped sentiment on this one is from My Pink Stamper and I used some baker's twine from The Twinery

I also wanted to share the card I made for my guest designer day on Karel's blog since things got a little messed up with the day it originally got posted.  The Frog was cut from the Boys Will Be Boys Cricut cartridge at 4 1/4" from Core'dinations Whitewash cardstock.  I used the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder to give him some dimension and then inked him up a bit with some Starlite Silver Dew Drop ink.  The pink was a piece of banner cut from Country Life Cricut cartridge that was left over from another project and the background patterned paper is by K&Company.  I used My Pink Stampers stamps for the "Sorry, I froggot." sentiment.  I just used a left over piece of Colorbok Pearlescent paper to cut a small strip and then wrapped it around my stylus to give the froggy a bug catching tongue!

Okay, I just got my first pair of Close to My Heart tweezers and I {{{HEART}}} them!  I have been a diehard Mrs. Grossman tweezers gal since I started scrapbooking.  I have two pairs of them, but I can't find them in any stores anymore!  These tweezers are new from CTMH so I thought I would give them a try and they are fabulous!  I love them so much that I bought another set to share with one of my lucky followers!   So be sure to get in on this blog candy!  I plan on ordering a few more pairs of these the next time I place a CTMH order!

  16. I really like the patchwork frog. I know I've deliberately fussy cut on the bug before but sometimes the random stuff works out quite nicely.
