Today is the last day of the Chess Club Tournament for the boys. They both still have two more games to play. Parker is still undefeated at this time (knock on wood). Tanner isn't doing quite as good, but he's still a work in progress and holding his own pretty good since he was paired up right away against a 5th grader, a 4th grader and the 3rd place finisher from last year! I tell him it is only going to make him a better chess player. His time will come. Next week finishing places will be announced and awards will be handed out.
Today....today I get to play with the very talented and sweet Ms. Jamie from Bits of Paper by Jamie Lane Designs!!! We have an adventure planned for today that could or could not turn out to be successful. However, no matter the outcome I will be in good company and that alone is worth it's weight in gold!
