Cricut Search made easy!

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support.  Your words have been touching my heart and helping it to heal...very much appreciated.  I've been trying to get back into our daily routine and throwing myself back into activities that I normally participate in at the boy's school.  It has been helpful that this week is homecoming with a lot of activities and tasks to be completed!

I have been wanting to make a post about Cricut Search for a couple of weeks now.  For those of you who have not checked out this awesome site, you must do so!  Stop by Cricut Search to check it out and add their blog button to your blog for easy access the next time you are wondering which cartridge has a pumpkin on it!  I was very impressed with how well organized and quick this site was.  I will never use my Gypsy to search for a specific shape or font again after trying Cricut Search !  I have to say that my favorite part about it is being able to type in a letter and having it pull up ALL of the fonts showing what that letter will cut like!  Type in an "M" and it will show you every font cartridge style of "M" out there!  Makes it very easy to pick that perfect font that you just might not be thinking of to finish off that LO or card!  Give it a try, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Hope everyone has a beautiful fall day!

  3. Glad to hear you getting back into the swing of things. Just take it one day at a time. :)

Now I hope I can make you laugh with my comment on what a fall day means to me. You see I read your last statement about a "beautiful fall day" and I had to laugh. I wasn't laughing at you but at what "fall" means to me here where I live. You see in my part of the country we don't really have 4 seasons like others do. We just have hot and not hot. So to me fall means 90 degree temperatures. The closest I come to the leaves changing colors is using colored cardstock in my cricut to cut out leaves for a layout. Actually right now it's kind of muggy because it rained overnight. I can't complain about that because we can always use the rain. I'm just looking forward to a beautiful 80-85 degree day where it actually feels a little cool. Ooh, time to break out the jacket when that happens. Ha ha! But that probably won't happen till December. Until then I'm staying inside with my a/c. I almost feel like a bear who hibernates. Except I'm the opposite, I hibernate in the summer and only come out during our "cool" season which is about Thanksgiving to Easter. Well, that is if Easter falls in March, but if it's in April then it can get a little hot. LOL.

Thanks for letting me share and sorry to go off on such a tangent, but I thought this was funny and you could use a laugh. :) Take care!

  4. I wanted to thank you for sharing our site with all of your followers. If you like searching for letters with the site, try searching for a letter with a shadow cut. I did a video on this, but it comes in really handy when you know you want to do your letters in a two color layer look.

    Thanks,
    Shawn
