Not the news we were hoping for...

It is with a heavy heart that I come here to make this post.  Unfortunately, the blood test results yesterday confirmed what we were afraid had happened.  We did indeed lose the baby.  We kind of knew after what had happened on Friday night that is what had happened, but we were still holding out hope that everything was going to be okay.  I tell you...preparing yourself for the worse doesn't make it any easier when you hear it.  Jim and I are both true believers that everything happens for a reason and so logically we know that this was for the best.  Emotionally our hearts tell us something different.

It was nice being able to get out of bed and the house yesterday.  I was able to go and be part of the homecoming float building event for my boys school which was a wonderful distraction.  I cannot wait to share pictures with all of you on what we are creating over there!  Once all the finishing touches are complete I will be sure to post pictures.  I want everyone to see all the work Jim put into cutting things with my Cricut.

I cannot express enough how much all of your comments, thoughts, prayers and pixie dust has meant to us. It really did give me extra strength to get through the day yesterday.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
