Welcome to the Spring Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Spring Blog Hop being brought to you by our wonderful hostess  Lisa from Scrappin' in NJ!  I am excited to be participating in another blog hop so soon after my first one!  I have always enjoyed going on the blog hops and seeing all of the wonderful creations and it is even better being able to create and showcase something of my own for the hop!  A big thank you goes out to Lisa for inviting me to join! If you have arrived here from Melanie's blog Scrappily Ever After (don't you just love her blog name?!)  then you are in the right place!  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the hop then please go to Lisa's blog Scrappin' in NJ.  I am thrilled to be a part of this hop with such amazing crafty ladies! 

Lisa asked that we do an Easter or Spring related project.  I cannot tell you how ready for Spring I am!!!!!! I have had more than enough of the snow and cold and I'm ready for sunshine, rain, grass, flowers and LONGER DAYS!!!  Bring on SPRING!!!

I am over the moon in love with my new Disney and Pixar cartridges (yeah I know...shocker huh?) so there was no way I could resist using Thumper from Bambi as my Easter Bunny!   For those of you unaware...Disney just released Bambi on Blu-ray/DVD this past Tuesday!  You better hurry and get your copy before it goes back into the vault!  Yes...I've seen one too many Disney movie commercials!  We already had Bambi on VHS and DVD, but of course we had to get it on Blu-ray too!! 



The patterned background paper is by Me & My Big Ideas.  Thumper was cut from Core'dinations paper with the Disney Classics Cricut cartridge at 5".  The eggs were cut from Core'dinations paper with the Smiley Cards Cricut cartridge using the hide/contour feature to get rid of the faces at 1 1/2".  The grass was cut from Core'dinations paper with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge at 1 1/2".  I used the Tiny Bubbles, Spots & Dots and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folders to emboss the eggs and then blinged them up with Stickles before pop dotting them on the card.

    Thanks for the cute card. I just got the cartridge last weekend and also a new stock of this cardstock. Love that you put it together first so I can try to match your colors (which is the hardest part for me). :)
