Okay...I just got home after completing some much needed crafting retail therapy! I had to go to Hobby Lobby to pick up some supplies for Parker's classroom project we are doing for the school auction. Can't go to Hobby Lobby without a little list of my own! ...and if you are going to Hobby Lobby, there is no possible way you can avoid going up the road to Archivers! I mean, that would just be selfish of me! But what about that 40% off Michaels coupon screaming at me, just dying to get out of my wallet??? OKAY FINE!!! I had to go to Michaels too!!! I did show some self restraint. I could have pulled out of the parking lot, did a boulevard turn and headed up the road just a little to the east and been at a Joanns, but I didn't! I held tight to the steering wheel and headed for the nearest Starbucks drive thru instead! If I have some time this afternoon maybe I'll snap some photos of my haul and share them with you later. Now onto the important stuff!!!
I was lucky enough to win one of these amazing totes last year from the super talented Jamie at Bits of Paper. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this tote! It is far superior to my old system I used for storing and transporting my cartridges, handbooks and overlays for my crops. Marlo, the fabulous owner of Contain Ya Crafts is generously providing me with one of these beauties to give away to one of my lucky followers this weekend! You will have your choice of pink or green! How awesome is that?!?!
Here are a few pictures of my Scrap N Tote. I will tell you that mine is not completely full in this photo. A few of my cartridges that are normally in this binder are out on loan to another one of my crafty friends. Since getting my Gypsy it isn't necessary for me to schlep all of my cartridges to each and every crop with me, but I do like taking some of the cartridges that I think others might like to use during our crops with me and this Scrap N Tote serves that purpose perfectly!!! When I took this to the last crop I went to in January...not only were my fellow scrapbookers happy to have me share my cartridges, but they were all "oooo'ing and ahhhhhh'ing" over the newest addition to my scrapping arsenal! Hand off ladies, it's all mine!
The Scrap N Tote will hold up to 36 Cricut cartridges WITH handbooks and overlays! The best part is that all three things: the cartridge, handbook and overlay all stay together in one individual enclosure! The front pocket of the binder will also hold your 12X12 mat! I love my Scrap N Tote and I am tickled pink (or green if you win and so choose!) that Marlo is giving one of you a chance to have one to call your own this weekend!
I haven't had a chance to make a personalized sheet to slide into the protective front cover, but I do have plans for that! When I get that project complete I will be sure to share it with you! Also, be sure to check out Marlo's newest product which is going to be ready to ship soon... the Scrap N Easel!! I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these!
Be sure to come back starting tomorrow for the two blog hops I'm participating in for your chance to win one of the Scrap N Totes!
Oh Melissa, I have been wanting this little sweet tote since I first saw it a few months ago! I will hopefully be able to hop this weekend. Have dress rehearsal both Friday and Saturday for our upcoming school musical - first show is on Monday and I still have some props to prepare - which means a trip to Michaels. It is going to be really hard to get me to go into Michaels but it is for the school after all LOL. Thanks goodness all my favorite chains are not so close together, I would be in trouble for ssure.
