April Showers Blog Hop - Day 1



Welcome to Day 1 of the April Showers Blog Hop!  You should be arriving from Leah's Card Designs.  If you just happened to come upon my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the hop, please go visit Kathryn at Creations with Kathryn.    

Today I have a card for you that I created without any Cricut cuts!  I've been having fun exploring with buttons and ribbons lately and this is a fun card I came up with!  I just used one of my plain white Recollection cards and with my CTMH sponge daubers inked up the background to look like the sky.  All the buttons are from my stash... I simply took a pencil and drew the lines for the 6 different shades of the rainbow and then placed a line of glue starting on the outside layer with the red buttons and filled them in.   The "You Brighten my day" stamp is by Stampendous.

    What a beautiful creation you card is! I love buttons and have bunches and bunches. The only problems is that I have shared lots of certain colors when someone needed them, so I might be short to re-create your rainbow. I am still going to keep it in mind! Thanks for sharing!
