Pinwheel Flower Card

Not a single Cricut cut on this card! I simply measured out a 3 in square out of some Bo Bunny paper scraps I had and hand cut it to make the pinwheel flower. I just cut in from the 4 corners of the square, folded them in and glued them to the center.  I did some trimming down to give it this shape after all of the pieces were adhered to the center.  I thought it would be fun to use some of the pipe cleaners to give the card some texture.  I found this cute butterfly embellishment at the Dollar Tree!  The patterned paper is from my scrap pile and sentiment stamp is by Studio G.  I couldn't tell you who the brad is by...it was mixed in with a jungle of other brads, eyelets and gems!

I made this for the So Saturday Anything Spring Challenge at Card Creations & More by C.  I am also entering this in the  brad challenge over at Frosted Designs this week.

Today is our niece Britany's 25th birthday!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIT!!! Wow, it seems like yesterday when they brought her home from the hospital.  Not to mention that it feels like yesterday when my hubby took me to Reno and Lake Tahoe to celebrate MY 25th birthday!  Yikes...time sure does fly.

Those pin wheels are so neat. Great job on this challenge and love the pipe cleaners. I wouldn't have thought of doing that.

So pretty. I love the colors and the pinwheel with the center too. I haven't ever made one and I should try one because this is wonderful.
